Terms of Service

Tidara Personal · Last updated: October 12, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Tidara Tech LLC ("Tidara", "we", "us"), a Texas limited liability company, for Tidara Personal, our text-message assistant for individuals and households. By starting a trial or a plan, you agree to them. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information, and our Message terms, which cover the texts themselves. Custom business builds are covered by their own agreement and our EULA, not by this page.

The short version

1. Who can use Tidara Personal

You must be at least 18 and have a mobile number in a country we currently serve (the United States and Canada). One account belongs to one person: the account owner. You can add household members, and you're responsible for having their agreement and for how they use your assistant. Keep your phone secure; anyone who can text from your number can use your assistant.

2. Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required. We won't charge you during the trial or turn it into a paid plan without you choosing one. When the trial ends without a plan, your assistant stops answering but keeps what it knows for 90 days, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may offer a short extension or end trials early for abuse.

3. Plans, billing and renewal

4. Cancelling and refunds

5. Fair use

Plans don't come with a message cap you have to watch. To keep the service working for everyone, if your use in a month is far above normal we may answer with a lighter, faster AI model for the rest of that month. If we see use that looks automated, abusive or like a runaway loop, we may pause your assistant and contact you. We'll never charge you extra without asking first.

6. What your assistant does only with your YES

Your assistant can act for you in a few ways that reach other people or your money. For each one, Tidara texts you the details first (who it goes to, what it says, what it costs), and nothing happens unless you reply YES from your own phone:

Read each request before you approve it. When you reply YES, you're authorizing that action, and you're responsible for it as if you'd done it yourself. Purchases are between you and the store, including returns and refunds; your assistant can help you chase them.

7. Using it responsibly

Don't use Tidara Personal to break the law, harass or deceive anyone, send messages to people who haven't agreed to hear from you, get around our safety limits, try to reach another customer's information, or overload or attack our systems. Don't use it to control locks, alarms or anything where a mistake could hurt someone; it's built not to. We may suspend or close an account that does these things, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

8. What it isn't

Your assistant is an AI. It can misunderstand, miss something, or get a fact, date or price wrong, so check anything important before you rely on it. It is not an emergency service: in an emergency, call 911. It doesn't give professional medical, legal, tax or financial advice, and what it says isn't a substitute for a qualified professional. Reminders and briefings depend on phone networks and other services, so we can't promise every text arrives on time.

9. Your information and content

What you send your assistant and what it keeps for you stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run your assistant and support you, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We don't sell it or use it to train AI models. You're responsible for having the right to share what you send, including other people's details.

10. Other services

Tidara Personal works with services run by other companies, such as your mobile carrier, Twilio, Stripe, our AI provider, and any Google, Microsoft, Apple or smart-home account you connect. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for their outages or changes. If one of them changes what it allows, we may have to change or remove a feature.

11. Changes to the service and these terms

Tidara Personal is new, and we'll keep improving it: features may be added, changed or retired. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we'll text you before the change takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel.

12. Ending the service

You can stop at any time (section 4). We can end your account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if we stop offering Tidara Personal. If we stop the service for reasons that aren't your fault, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice where we can and refund any period you've paid for and won't receive.

13. Responsibility

We provide Tidara Personal with care, but "as is": to the extent the law allows, we don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or right for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed appointment, lost opportunity or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. None of this limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights under consumer protection law where you live, including in Canada.

14. Disputes and governing law

If something goes wrong, please contact us first; most problems are fixed quickly that way. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Montgomery County, Texas, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring it where you live.
